After deciding to have a simple content management system, I had a quick look at Grey Matter. I have decided that I need a simple system because of the fact that my server has not much power. So I don’t want any scripts run at any of my pages by default (except for comments). I might change over in the future to Movable Type.

Having played a bit with the system and spend a lot of time in setting up the templates I’m not unhappy. The only thing is the performance, which is bad on my system. I also have found ot a good way in designing the look and feel upfront instead of trail and error. But any way it works and we’ll see how long it will last. I already found out that it should be quite easy to upgrade to moveabl eas they can convert the GM database.
