As everyone is still waiting for Phil Askey to post his D70 review, I have found some other respectable reviews:

• Bjørn Rørslett the norwegian naturfotograf has posted a D70 review. He compares output the D70 with the D2H (30% less pixels and thus faster workflow). Other remarkable tests are infrared and UV sensitivety. WHen you stop by this site, also have a look at his S3 with Rodenstock Heligon 50mm f/0.75 lens.
• Ken Rockwell has reviewed the D70. He liked it so much that he’d ordered one for himself. Most obvious thing is his thinking about Inscrutable Oriental Warm-Cool 1/8,000 Shutter Syndrome (IOWCSS). Ken has also a definition of The Seven Levels of Photographers. If you look at his homepage, can you tell me which type he is?

Of course there are a lot more reviews, but these are from sites a rarely visit and have no clue about the quality of the review:

• Steves Digicams shows a lot of specs and some samples
• dpmac has a review but more interesting is the Tailand factory tour
• Digital review has interesting Macbeth colour chart samples for the D70, D100 and 300D at various ISO settings! Quite nice to compare the noise. I croped a 200% enlargement out of the ISO 800 shots below
  
• Hardware zone has a 13 page review with lots of side-by-side pictures to show differences in various modes.
