Nikon D50 and new lenses

April 19, 2005 | Comments (0)
Nikon D50 (12kb)

This looks like the new Nikon D50. It will be there in black and silver body. Together with this camera, two new lenses will be available. First the AF-S 18-55DX f/3.5-5.6G and an also new lens, the AF-S 55-200DX f/4.5-5.6G. This last lens has a focal length of 80-300mm compared with 35mm full frame. The good news is that this all costs around € 649,- in europe for the body.

Looks nice (in black). AF-S 55-200DX f/4.5-5.6G?? why not buy the existing 70-300/4.5-5.6 nonDX lens for 100 euro's? Gives you a 105-450 super tele equivalent! (OK you will miss the 55-70 range... But gives you a good excuse to buy the 60/2.8 af d micro Nikkor)
