An entertaining read on how Windows succeeded by accident. Starting with Windows 1.0 — which was kind of failure — to OS/2 and via applications as Word and Excel to Windows 3.0. MOst of the times, success seems an accident within Microsoft. Sometimes however they create failure just to push another company out of the market. AFter reading a number of times about Eller, you look back to see who wrote the book and then you understand. The book is mostly based on Eller’s viewpoints and is a bit of ego-tripping but never-the-less a fun thing to read in between.
