Nikon D200 body

The Nikon D200 is shown to the public — well not really as these images are grabbed from one of the Nikon sites.

Not sure what the number of mpixes is. The guesstimates are 10.x or 12.4 mpix. I also didn’t expect a build in flash. So far it looks like Nikon F80 technology with the difference that it has 11 auto focus points and no dial to select A, S, P, M modes and PC-Sync. The only thing I haven’t seen is the additional vertical grip.

Nikon D200 back

It is very likely that this one comes with a vertical grip — like below — which is absent with the Nikon D70 and Nikon D50 bodies:
