Nikon confirm D200 banding

Nikon has confirmed the banding issue on the Nikon D200. The issues seems to be solved by changing the output levels (of the sensor?). According to Nikon it is only visible if the image is zoomed beyond 100% and does not happen at ISO 100.
“Images printed at a print size of A3 (297 mm x 420 mm / 11 in x 14 in.) or smaller this pattern is almost undetectable, and therefore should have little impact on general photography and printing.” — Nikon Europe
