The next Digital Nikon D2H

July 12, 2003 | Comments (0)

On July 22, Nikon will introduce the successor to the D1H. It’s called the D2H. According to Chasseur d’Images (translation in english). There were lots of rumours that Nikon whould change it’s famous F-mount, but this is NOT true. The D2 is equiped with the F-mount and also takes the newer DX lenses. The most innovative feature is that it can communicate using WIFI!

It'll probably be twins, guys. I've just checked that at the U.S. Patent and
Trademark Office
. Nikon hasn't registered any 'D2'
(yet), but a 'D2H' (s/n 78217602) and a 'D2X' (s/n 78226472).

Here's the link to TESS (Trademark Electronic Search System)
