McLaren-Mercedes was back

It seemed that McLaren-Mercedes was back with the second place in qualifying by Kimi in the German GP. However he just crashed because of his wing plate fall off. Unbelievable! I can imagine a motor blow up, a flat tire or a gear box problem. However a failure of a not moving part, that looks like a beginner problem and should not be possible with a team with a budget as big as McLaren-Mercedes has!
