By surprise Nikon released a minor upgrade to the Nikon D2x, namely the Nikon D2Xs. Hardware changes are the a new 2.5 inch LCD with a 170-degree wide viewing angle and significantly increased battery life. In software they implemented sRGB Black & White mode, new custom settings and sensitivity options.
“The digital SLR blending 12.4 effective megapixels and high precision with high speed for greatly refined professional performance.” — Nikon
