Nikon D80 scan (22kb)

Here is a scan from one of the brochures as found by Pocket-Lint.

The camera is supposed to have:

  • 10.2 megapixel CCD sensor
  • 11 area wide autofocus
  • 0.94x viewfinder
  • a 2.5inch LCD screen
  • 3 frames per second continuous shooting
I assume it will be around € 999,— for the body which is quite a bit more expensive then the the Nikon D70s which is available for around € 650,—.

Well, that left side is nearly an exact copy of a D70s -- right down the CF card slot. That doesn't jibe with any of the predictions. The AF/MF switch is also shown, and that was rumored to have been moved/removed. Looks to me like another photoshopped rumorshot.

I still think it's going to be a D60.
