Zeis lenses for Nikon?

December 28, 2005 | Comments (0)

There is currently a rumor going on that Zeis will release lenses with the famous Nikon F-mount. It will be revealed on New High Power Lenses from Carl Zeis page. more information will be revealed on the site on January 4, 2006. Currently the Zeis lenses won’t work out of the box but Novoflex — the well known manufacturer of versatile accessories — produces an adapter system to ac-comodate Carl Zeiss high quality lenses made for Hasselblad medium format cameras to almost any important 35 mm SLR camera. With this adapter, the lens can be utilized in manual mode. Features like diaphragm actuator, f-stop-simulator, and autofocus won’t work.
